There’s something special about gathering around a table
with good food and good company.
Hosted on the 3rd Wednesday of most months, our Community Dinner
is a welcoming space where neighbors become friends and
everyone has a place at the table.

Each month, 150–300 community members gather in the main ballroom
at the Lacombe Memorial Centre (LMC) to enjoy a delicious
home-cooked meal prepared, served, and cleaned up by an
incredible team of volunteers. Sponsored by the City of Lacombe, DOW, Echo Food Rescue, Scholings Potatoes, MEGlobal and Pik-N-Pac.

We know that sharing a meal is about so much more than food. Community Dinner is an opportunity to connect, reduce isolation, celebrate community, and remind one another that we are stronger together. Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own,
you will be welcomed with a smile.

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and supper is served beginning around 5:30 p.m. as tables are called. Meals are offered by donation at the door, helping to ensure that everyone in our community can attend.
We look forward to gathering again on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

*Please note that Community Dinner takes a summer break during July & August
as well as December.
