Art Escape Summer Workshops: These three day workshops are for children ages 6-8 during the first week of July and ages 9-11 during the first week of August. The workshops run on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of these weeks and are being held in the Kinsmen Meeting Room at the LMC from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Children are required to bring a peanut free lunch and snacks as well as clothes that they could paint in. See our Registration Form here.
Caring for Children: Funds raised from churches and service organizations provide medical, dental and optical support for children of families facing financial hardship. Check out the brochure here.
Coats for Kids: Provides new winter wear for children and families experiencing financial difficulties. Cash donations can be made at the Lacombe FCSS office. This program runs throughout the winter months.

Lacombe Summer Camp: These one week camps are held during the day from 8:30 - 4:00 in the upper lobby of the Arena and are for children from ages 6-8 and 9-11. Each week has a theme of which games, crafts, and field trips are based. The camps begin on July 4th and run for 7 weeks ending on August 19th. The children are to be prepared to be in camp for the entire day and are required to bring a peanut free lunch and snacks as well appropriate clothing to go outside. See our Registration Form here.
Leaders of Tomorrow Awards: A youth volunteer recognition program which celebrates youth who have made outstanding volunteer contributions to their community through volunteerism. Nominations are accepted from February to April.
Park Pals: Park Pals is a supervised drop in and play at the park program where children can meet up with friends to play, do crafts, and other outside activities. It will be held at the Kinsmen Ball Park weekdays beginning July 4th and ending August 19th and is weather permitting. Children must be registered in the program. Children between the ages 6-8 can drop in between 9:00 and 12:00 and children between the ages of 9-11 can drop in between 1:00 and 4:00. Children are required to bring water, peanut free snacks, sunscreen, hat and anything else they may need to be outside. See our Registration Form here.
Rainbows Program: A bereavement support group for children facing loss due to death or divorce. For more information please call the Lacombe FCSS office at 403-782-6637.
Tools for School: Assists children with required school supplies. Donations can be made at throughout Lacombe and area starting in July. For an application form or to make a cash donation visit the Lacombe FCSS Office.
